Daventry (DIRFT) and Long Buckby - 13th September 2026

Picture
After a visit to the 'N Gauge' Model Railway show near Leamington Spa on Saturday 13th September 2026, we decided on a visit to the Daventry area for the afternoon as there was a fair amount of freight booked to operate during the afternoon period. We started at the Daventry International Rail Freight Terminal for a short period before moving east to Long Buckby Station to capture several movements before heading home.
This gallery features the busy freight and passenger route between Northampton and Rugby alongside the West Coast Mainline.
