Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Railway - Diesel Gala - July 2024

The Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Diesel Gala weekend was held on the 13th and 14th July 2024. The gala featured the Toddington based home fleet locos along with one visitor from the Llangollen Railway. Class 26 No.26010 (D5310) was a rare visitor to the line. The Gala also featured the first passenger runs for Class 20 No.20228 which had previously spent time at the Barry Island Railway before being moved to Toddington to complete its restoration from its former French CFD colours. 
Weather for the event was cloudy throughout the weekend.

Former BR Class 26 No.26046 is pictured at Toddington mid restoration on the 13th July 2024. After a British Railways 'Bodge' repair was found the loco has been in works for an extended time to rectify the damage correctly.
