Daventry - 20th November 2014

Picture
Daventry is located on the Northhampton Line to the south east of Rugby, the line also gives access to the sprawling metropolis that is Daventry International Rail Freight Terminal (DIRFT), where trains loaded with traffic for Tesco arrive and depart on trunk routes around the UK.
The terminal is currently in the process of expanding it's rail access further which in the future will allow more goods to arrive and depart using rail transportation.
I spent short period of time at Nortoft Lane bridge and recorded a surprising amount of traffic in the area.
