Portland, Dorset
Portland, Dorset has fast become a personal favorite of mine. The Isle offers some superb vistas amongst its rugged scenery and quaint villages. The area is great for walking which allows access to some stunning viewpoints of the English Channel and Weymouth Bay area. Jutting out into the sea and forming part of the Jurassic Coastline, Portland was one of the locations which took a battering during the 2014 storms, having such an exposed coastline.
