Gloucester, Hatton, Cossington, Barton-on Humber and Grimsby - 9th/10th March 2018
This set of images in the gallery came about more because of travel to position for a photographic charter in North Lincolnshire on the 10th March. Leaving home on the Friday 9th March I traveled north to in one / two hour increments throughout the day. The first location was the south end of Haresfield Loop (in Gloucestershire) where we captured one freight and the Network Rail NMT. I then continued up the M5 and A46 to reach Hatton (located on the Chiltern Mainline just north of Leamington Spa), the small village station offers some good spots for photography both at the station itself and a short walk down the adjacent Grand Union Canal to an footbridge located at the north side of a triangular junction.
From Hatton I moved to the East Midlands visiting Cassington which is located on the busy four track Midland Mainline.
Saturday morning also provided an opportunity to kill a little bit of time before my photographic charter event, by means of a quick trip from Barton-on-Humber to Grimsby Town and back. This gallery is a motley selection of the images captured over the 9th/10th March 2018.
