Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Railway - Autumn Diesel Gala - October 2019
The Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Railway held their Autumn Diesel Gala event on the 12th and 14th October 2019. The event featured locomotives from the 'home fleet' as well as the late operating weekend for the summer season visitor No.50035 'Ark Royal' from the Fifty Fund based at Kidderminster on the Severn Valley Railway. The Gloucestershire and Warwickshire railway boasts a large selection of former British Rail locomotives, all of which have been restored to stunning operational condition.

Freightliner liveried Class 47 No.47376 'Freightliner 1995' departs from Toddingtton station on Saturday 12th October with the 09:30 service to Cheltenham, the first service of the October Diesel Gala weekend, visiting Class 50 No.50035 'Ark Royal' from the Fifty Fund at the Severn Valley Railway stands waiting its first duty of the day.

BR Blue Class 50 No.50035 'Ark Royal' completed its final weekend of operations on the Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Railway on the 12th and 13th October, before returning to its base at Kidderminster on the Severn Valley Railway.
