Heritage Buses
Londoner Buses - Heritage Route 15 Running Day - 27th/28th February 2026
Londoner Buses offer unique experiences aboard iconic Routemaster buses, blending British charm with exceptional service. From sightseeing tours to afternoon tea, every journey celebrates British heritage. They also use HVO biofuel to ensure sustainability. Heritage route 15 operates between Trafalgar Square and Tower Hill (normally operating a 30-minute service). On the 27th and 28th of February 2026, the company held its very first Heritage Weekend, inviting other buses to join them for a 15-minute operating service throughout the weekend. This unique event saw around six buses operating on Saturday, with many more joining the event on Sunday. The event allowed the chance to try and capture as many Routemasters as possible amongst various London landmarks.
The London Bus
The Classic London Bus comes in all shapes sizes and specs, while they may no carry out the day to day work in London any more, hundreds have been preserved and many lovingly restored by new owners. This gallery provides a selection of images detailing some of the varied London Buses which can still be found in the UK.
Londoner Buses
Londoner Buses (part of Transporagroup) is a new heritage bus service operating in London on a circular route from London Waterloo through Westminster to Piccadilly Circus. The route is known and operated as Heritage Route A. Originally the timetable was lunched with a 15/20 minute service but on the day my visit the timetables had been revised to a single bus operating an hourly schedule. I traversed part of the route on foot to capture the bus at famous landmarks throughout its route.
