Heritage Cars
There are thousands of heritage cars stored (and used) all over the United Kingdom, many only attend shows but others in the area still see regular use. This gallery provides a selection of images from various classic car events and also recorded while out on public roads.
Taunton Country Classic Motor Museum Opening - 20th November 2023
Monday 20th November 2023 saw the opening ceremony for the Taunton County Classic Motor Museum in Taunton. Patrick Hawkins the founder and chairman of County Classic Motor Museum Taunton Somerset enjoyed a huge passion and love for motor vehicles. At the young age of 11 years, he bought and sold his first car happily spending time repairing and restoring a vehicle that needed to be brought back to life. This passion continued throughout his career, a dream one day he would fulfil his ambition to open a car museum in Somerset.
The museum was opened by TV Celebrity 'Richard Hammond' with huge crowds gathering to see the event unfold. North Street was closed to traffic and the street lined with heritage restored cars for the general public to view.
