Krakow (Poland) Trams Network
The Krakow Tram and Public Transport network is vast, and consists of 22 ordinary, 2 fast, and 3 night, tramlines with a total length of 347 kilometres (216 mi). As of 2013, the total route length of the tramway was 90 kilometres (56 mi), including a 1.4-kilometre (0.87 mi) tram tunnel with two underground stops. The trams in Krakow first started operating in 1882. The City network is so vast it has three tram depots, Zajezdnia Podgórze (opened in 1938), Zajezdnia Nowa Huta (Opened in 1969), and Zajezdnia Św. Wawrzyńca (opened in 1882, and reopened in 2009).
A 24 hour public transport ticket costs 20 Polish Zloty (which is about £4), which is excellent value for money. The city is currently upgrading its older fleets with more modern city trams, however Krakow has a wonderful mixture of old and new working alongside one another, with busy street intersections, junctions and a mixture of segregated and integrated (with traffic) running within the city.

Heritage Trams of Krakow:
Heritage Tams operate in Krawow on Sundays in the city. Some (painted in Heritage liveries) operate normal passenger routes, while those based at the Museum of Municipal Engineering operate 'Route 0'. Passengers who have already purchased a day travel ticket for the city are able to travel on these services as part of the ticket they have purchased. Tram stops which are incorporated within Route 0 have the arrival and departure times shown on each tram stop. The start and finish point for Route 0 is at the Dajwor Stop, located on Świętego Wawrzyńca Street. Heritage service trams date from 1938, and normally two trams operate two routes throughout the day.
