LFM320 Crosville Leyland Tiger PS1 & JFM575 1948 AEC Regal III - 9th May 2015
The 9th May 2015 was scheduled to be a day out on the country roads with Leyland Tiger LMF320, however owing to a blown gasket mid way through the trip, the gathered photographers took refuge at a local pub while AEC Regal III JFM575 was sent out as a replacement. The unscheduled breakdown (which was later repaired at the roadside), provided the rather unique opertunity to switch busses half way through the day providing more insterest for those who'd paid to attend the

photographic charter. The day started at Bishops Lydeard Railway Station before heading to Ash Priors for the morning and then into the picturesque country lanes in the Crowcombe area. After a lunchtime bus swap, we then proceeded to the North Somerset coastline to set up some scenes at Blue Anchor before returning to Bishops Lydeard during late afternoon. Thanks should go to David Williams for organizing the day out, and the team at Quantock Heritage who did a superb job in keeping us rolling throughout the day!
