Severn Valley Railway - 'Magnificent Seven +1' Night Photo Shoot
As part of the Severn Valley Railway 'Magnificent Seven' Hydraulic event held in early October the railway held two night photographic shoots allowing photographers the chance to capture all the hydraulic locomotives which attended the main diesel gala event. The event featured the following locomotives:
Hymeks: D7029 (Out of Service) and No.D7076
D821 'Greyhound', D832 'Onslaught'
D1013 'Western Ranger'
D1015 'Western Champion'
D1048 'Western Lady'
D1062 'Western Courier'
The evening shoot ran from dusk until dark allowing a range of line-up photographs infront of the carriage shed at Kidderminster, before some separate shoots under the Kidderminster Gantry frame.
In some cases I've edited images to give an ages effect to perhaps illustrate how images may have looked when taken with a non digital camera while on depot back in the operational days of the class members.
